Hi JR -
I'll let the wise men :arf: answer (I'd say Northend Wrench) but welcome! Mid Ohio is a crazy bunch! I'm sure there will be lots of discussion before dinner, but I think it won't be the Roadhouse.

Hello and welcome to the club! Did you attend the last breakfast in that Electric Blue MCS?
If you're just wanting the old exhaust taken off and a new one bolted on, I suggest saving a few bucks and going to Fast Lane Auto located in Clintonville on N. High street. Chuck at Fast Lane is a good friend of mine and has installed several aftermarket exhausts on Minis, including my own. It probably shouldn't cost much more than $100-$140. -

Welcome and who shot you? Sorry this weekend was the anniversary of that Dallas episode and I couldn't stop myself. We need to see some pictures of your car!!!

Welcome aboard. I am not a member of MOM, but I seem to hang out around here a lot, just to check out the eating habits of those in Ohio and mess with certain of your members. :cornut:

Welcome
Check out the stratmosphere system, it is the best for an R53. -

This is the best place to be
What exhaust are you putting on ?

And I absolutely reccommend North End Wrench. Had them put my stratmosphere on and it was under 100 bucks (maybe around 80-something)
They even allowed me to store my stock one there until i could get a truck about 2 weeks later! -
One of the two rear mufflers (the first one the pipe enters) has quite a bit of rust. I have not decided yet what to purchase. Do you know if any of the stock exhaust system is stainless? Such as from the exhaust manifold to the catalytic converter?
Appreciate the responses. -

Pepper White is the best color ever, I am slightly biased. Hope you can make it out to some meals you will be able to hear a bunch of different exhausts. I think most people like the JCW. Adam is the guy to talk to he has had all of them at one point in time

if im the Adam in question here, mines a second gen

Welcome to MINIland. Two years ago we adopted a poor orphaned waif of an '06 PS cabrio and love him to death. We belong to another club of MINI people but know you will find your group a great bunch of fellow enthusiasts.
One of our members has authored a website called soopercooperinfo.com. It contains links to everything he can find about MINI's including a growing list of independent service centers.
