I'm going to set up an Internet contribution fund so I can buy one of each. :biggrin5:

I saw the new Vette up close at the arthritis show. It's better in person than the pics. But it just doesn't work for me. I think they should have sententious curves instead of angular lines. The Camaro taillights are a mistake. But the inside is great. The best of any one yet.
Now the Camaro has 200SX taillights -
I can't believe you guys are so focused on the Corvette's tail lights; one of the reasons they're shaped that way is because they're part of a venting system for the differential and transmission heat exchangers.
Sheesh, what's next - complaining about the F56's front end? -

Yep no manual is a glaring omission on Jag's part. Since I'll never be able to own one I'll be content to look at that sweet shape & not worry about the lack of a true manual.

New Vette is a huge bang for the buck at little more than half the price of a loaded F type.....and I'd bet good money would beat the Jag around VIR hands down!

Everybody is right, the Jag is all style and looks and the Vette is slightly uglier, but will leave it for dead around any track.
That said the Jag looks better in pictures than in person they look slightly off in person to me. Byers has a line of them, which tells me the price is all wrong. -
Didn't know the jags were sitting on the lots. Not so the Stingray, I can't drive one probably until the spring, they're all sold around here. I had to give up a portion of my anatomy I cherish dearly just to talk the dealer into letting me sit in a sold one.
I still haven't seen the Jag in real life, just pictures, interesting pictures make it look better than real life, it's the opposite with the Corvette. Next time I'm in Appleton I'll swing by the Jag dealer. -
The Stingray was there also, did not like the tailights at all, but other than that, very nice. One of the Stingrays that was there had the removable top stowed in the back, once that happens, not much room left in the hatch area.

You would be amazed, my dad had a C4 and we could get two sets of golf cubs in the back with the roof stowed! There was no view out the back but the lid shut
A dealer in Columbus advertised they had 2 Vettes in stock, then the next day they sent a message saying they were gone already. -

You have to move faster if you are going to score one Allen.

You can get pop up headlights on a Miata for dirt cheap. Sticking an LS1 in one is possible, but costly. Probably more that a C5 Z06.

I can have your Miata for dirt cheap? OK if you need the garage space I can help you out
The money could go to Bab's weekly computer fund
