    I don't know 'peep', but if it were a melting hood scoop, one would expect it to either melt away or eventually stop off-gassing (and releasing the smell).

    I'm betting on the Cat. converter as well.

    I had it at the dealer and they found a bad O2 sensor...and the smell went away for a little while...but now its back....

    I will call dealer tomorrow and schedule appt. -- thanks everyone !
