    Three cylinders, 1.5 liters, 400bhp...weighs only 40kg (88lb)!

I don't care about this new Garage 56 entry Deltawing follow-on, tell me more about the engine! :yesnod:

This one gets a big turbo. Well, it looks big on that little engine.

It amazes me that engine can put it so much power in such a tiny package. Pretty cool in my books

I was wondering about the design, which is obviously influenced by the DeltaWing.

and sure enough, it's in dispute:

That is an amazing accomplishment. I would like to point out two things. The engine architecture is very similar to the Miller / Offenhauser designs with a barrel crankcase and studs extending through the engine. I can’t tell if this engine has a head gasket. The Miller / Offenhauser engines didn’t. The other issue is that this engine does not need a wide power band. They can use a huge turbo. The torque needed to get off the corner can come from the electric motor.

That is truly amazing, in a "I had to double check the date, make sure it was'nt
April 1st" type of way. The only thing is the reliability--that's asking a lot from a little--but if it can hold up, and if it isn't ferociously expensive, both very big ifs, what a game changer.
