    Lol. A friend of mine had his CHL in Texas and rode a motorcycle almost everywhere. A guy in a car does a last minute lane change in front of him, then slams on the brakes. My friend stops in time, but just barely... screeching tires, fishtailing... lots of drama. The car driver pauses for a second and screams "You stupid f-er... you just hit my car!" and the driver's door flies open (probably insurance fraud trap, but possibly just some a-hole road raging). When the (still) screaming car driver jumped out and turned around, he was looking straight down the barrel of a .45 Kimber (stupid carry gun, but it fit flat inside a chest pocket of his leather riding jacket, so he was carrying large). The attitude changed suddenly... the car driver goes silent, turns, gets back in his car and drives away quickly.

    So sometimes the antisocial driving is quelled by a CHL. :D

    Yup - the bird for everyone!! In all seriousness I asked a local about that sign and it appears they have "antisocial" laws. There were issues with folks and them doing dumb things with their "supercars"... Appears its primarily targeted at the kids of wealthy parents... who get super cars.

    Granted while were talking a kid pulled up in his McClaren.. sat in the middle of the street while his buddy's looked at it. Wasn't "local" money... pretty sure there was plenty of oil surrounding that purchase. :Cautious:

    Oh - disagree. Texas is the lone star state.. and they don’t eat quiche but do make good BBQ. Still love when CA got mad that TX was recruiting their citizens a few years ago. Appears it worked if you look at how fast Austin is growing.

    Also when it snows in TX the drivers are super special. Been there and watched the wrecks. Granted it’s like the ATL.. turns into and ice bowl. :D

    I had to go look that up. In Australia: Anti-social driving is a form of intimidating driving behaviour; it can include speeding, burnouts, tailgating, menacing driving and street racing. These illegal activities may result in the loss of licence, heavy fines, the seizing of vehicles and potentially imprisonment.

    Others may know for sure but I am thinking the Brits use 2 fingers to give the salute. Could be the revolt against those Roman assholes that invaded them years back, and their digitus impudicus.

    But of course Dave does have a particular manner . . . . . .

    Flipping the bird in Texas is really something you have to give some thought to before doing. I've had guns pointed at me twice -- and I didn't flip the bird!

    The first guy also threw beer bottles at my car, missed, and hit the 18-wheeler behind me. BIG mistake. Three trucks boxed him in, called the cops, and he spent the night in jail. The second guy got away with it -- as they generally do.

    In Texas, if you tell the cops someone pointed a gun at you on the highway, they generally ask you what YOU did to CAUSE them to point a gun at you. Basically, they pretend to listen to you, and then blow you off. Well, unless you are in rural Texas or the Burbs, and the guy who pointed the gun at you was black.

    Texas is not special, it’s big, but not special. I have flipped people off in NYC, Boston, LA, Philly, DC, Denver, Atlanta, alll over southern Florida. Everyone has guns in the US, it’s not a big deal.
