I can understand that you would and it is, most likely, in the code there. PA has NO building code to speak of. The only thing inspected in a new home is the electric. There are many free standing, if you will, buildings around here. The base is large stone, crusher run and packed firm. I don't think it will go anywhere. Jim
You still digging Jim? I've gotten hung up here with the install of the garage heater & 220 for Babs kiln. I may have to blow off on helping. Tomorrow is a holiday & Tuesday I'm back to work. I'll send my virtual backhoe & cement truck your way.
That's OK Crash. I'm virtually finished with the footers any way. Just waiting on Scott to drop by. Jim
Sheesh.....a guy stops by and I know you were home BUT you didn't answer the door. Must not have wanted to share those donuts....
Wow. cool garage. I have never seen anything that 'garage-like' without a real foundation. Impressive.
Jim..... Add one a these next to your new garage. A little get a way spot when you don't see eye to eye with the missus..... It's got wheels, so you can move it closer to the horses.....:cornut: Oups..... delete the outside lock / latch..... She might find a use for it if you're inside at the moment. Can't have that....
Now here is a great idea, but I think it would be hard to install and require a lot of up keep. Jim [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJwN4QYcs7c]Motorcycle Rider Invents Unique Garage Door Opener - YouTube[/ame]
