    The border guards remind me of the Haka chant done by the New Zealand rugby team before games. This is a fairly mild one ("I'm only going to tear your head off gently, mate....") but the explantion is good:

    I was working in Russia in the early 90s and was taken by my hosts to see the changing of the guard at Lenin's tomb, just a week or two before the guard was discontinued. It may have been an evil empire, but their guard marching was very, very impressive - sadly I can't find any video of it.

    Changing of the Guard at Lenin's Tomb.

    During the Day the guard is changed every hour and timed to the bells at a local cathedral.
