It should be red with a black top, they are the prettiest.
Black with a red top is just weird.

Congratulations, I would drive that one. I understand they are pretty stellar with all the JCW bits, nice colors.

Anyone know how long it takes for the US system (ol.miniusa.com) to get updated for production orders?
-
Crashton Club CoordinatorDo you have a VIN yet? If you do I'd call Ask-MINI & ask. When I ordered my MINI over 10 years ago I was able to follow it from the docks all the way across the pond & to the dealer. In fact I saw my MINI on a Sunday. The Next day I called & asked when I could pick it up. They assured me my MINI was not there. Go out back & look guys. Called me back & was astonished I knew when it got there. Sorry for the long story.
Short story, that was over 10 years ago & I don't remember how I pulled that off. Being that your car is coming from the Netherlands it may be different. If you can get the ships name you can follow it across the pond.
It's tough waiting, but it will be worth it.

I have the production number. Which, on the ol.miniusa.com site I should be able to use to track the vehicle. I know I have to wait but at least I can see where it is. Hopefully something will show Monday.

Well, it's on a container ship. Europa something or other. Got an email from my sales guy at MINI. He expects it in the port at Galveston the first or second week of August. Then a few days for prep and delivery to the dealer.
