Sean, I ran on summer performance tires Saturday and it added to the excitement. It was like driving on hockey pucks but I had a blast. Once they got warmed up on 555 they were good the rest of the day :aureola:

+1 on the summer tires being OK after some warm up. I was worried but it turned out just fine.

I did it on those stiff Dunlop run flats, and still had loads of fun.Can't wait until they need to be replaced.

In the temps we saw no one was going to have a problem with summer tires. Another 10 degrees colder & it might have been another story.
I kind of wish we'd headed over to Fly & took a ferry ride. Maybe next time we'll do a spring drive & leave a bit earlier to cover more ground.
