I'm signing up fort this event and recommend anyone with a MINI that is intersted to do so. The Shenandoah circuit at SP is a taylor made course for MINI. Lots of turns and short to medium straights. And if you have never run with Trackdaze you should. They have four 30 min sessions a day for each group rather than 20 min sessions. Over the course of a weekend that gives you considerble more track time. you otta come on out! :yesnod:

Yep, the Shenandoah is the Summit circuit I've been wanting to drive. Was out of town when this event happened. What is that concrete paved turn called?
The banked turn is the Carousel, or Karrusel as noted on the map (turn 13). It is awesome. The whole course is. It is truly a track made for MINI. Do it if you have the chance.
BTW; for accuracy the course configuration we ran was a bit different than indicated by the bold black on this map. The "kink" in the middle of the back straight was not used, the bus stop was not used, and turn 10 was not in play. This make for longer straights but still not all that long, especially when weighed against all the turns. The high HP cars will pass you on the straights but the MINIs and Miata types catch them in the turns.
