Our most recent detail was an ultra rare 2010 JCW MINI Cooper S World Champion 50 (WC50). Only 50 were imported into the US, one for each state and 500 were distributed around the rest of the world. What is most ironic is that this opportunity came as the result of the owner's son wanting to get his Dad a birthday present with a detail for his favorite car and they found us through Yelp, not within the MINI communities! How fortunate they were to find the most experienced MINI detailer in SoCal to work on such a rare automobile! Due to budgetary reasons, this detail was our lowest priced "Enhancement Detail".

So here is how she arrived:

    Engine Bay Foamed

Underside of Bonnet is foamed as well
    [IMG]

EZ Brush Mini is used as well

Prima Slick with 91% alcohol makes an excellent IPA wipedown between steps
    [IMG]

The MINI A-Pillars are a very soft plastic and swirl easily. Polishing takes care of this.

    Much better!

The temperature the last few days has been around 107 degrees, so please excuse our casual attire. Our shop is still in the process of a major remodel but it's looking much better now since we did the Jerez Black M3.

As the inventors and manufacturer of Black Wow Trim Restorer, we love to use Black Wow. Here we are cleaning the trim with Pre-Wow first.

After Black Wow, you can see the huge difference it makes. When BW is applied properly, it lasts up to a year between applications.

An old 3" Lake Country polishing pad makes a great applicator

The interior was detailed and conditioned. A light is mandatory while cleaning dark interiors. We used Prima Nourish for the leather seats.

The wheels were cleaned and sealed and the tires were dressed with OptiBond

Engine Bay was detailed and dressed with Meguiar's Hyper Dressing

i did! But the difficulty is that the kids aren't MINI enthusiasts...just their Dad--yes how sad!!! So they had no clue there was even a MINI community. But the sister has a BMW and I don't think this is the last time I'll be seeing them. =)

Wow, different MINI after your lowest end extensive detail. Nicely done! :)

I have to wonder how you let a WC50 get into this condition, the kid has potential, I hope he gets to drive Dad's MINI.
