Nice seeing everyone today. Mike it has been ages... Nice meeting your friend Lauren. :ihih: Erika I was happy to meet you & your daughter. Sorry I've forgotten her name already. Ben/Jason Jason/Ben it was good seeing you. Tell Amanda we missed her. Mark, thanks for a swell drive. It was a fun way to spend the day.
Man.... What a great time..... The weather turned out perfect..... Lots of great color on the leaves..... Super fun run down in the Hocking Hills of Logan.... It's been ages since Diana (my wife) and I were there last.... "Old Man's Cave" and the "Rock House" hasn't changed much (just lot's more people.....) Thanks bunches.... Mark, you put together another great run..... Mike and Lauren, it was nice meeting the two of you, your Honda fit right in with us Bulldogs.... Nice meeting you Ben err Jason.... Ben, your dirty wheels were just fine.... It was nice meeting you Ericka.... I think its wonderful to see a mother and daughter out having fun together.... Cherish the moments, they are fleeting..... Your Hellyeah's sounded super.... gotta get back to finishing my install.... I gotta admit it... your "Justa" ran like an "S"..... (get that leak taken care of). As you pass Jim on the way back home, give him plenty of...rrr:rrr:rrr::lol: Fun time at the BBQ joint, I'm glad we were all able to sit together at the big table..... Pretty good grub.... Chuck and Babs and Tom.... You guys are always fun to be with.... Some great stories you have.... And lastly.... Thank you mister policeman.... It was too nice a day to give out tickets.... Here's to you......:donut1:
Well I'm sure he saw you zipping by as the leader of the pack.... He had us ALL nailed, not sure why he didn't give us all tickets. We were running @ 80 MPH at the time. Musta been that laser absorbing DS paint some of us wear on the MINI's that was discontinued as a result from Po Po pressure.....
Mark, he was sitting on top of one of those overpasses we went under running on 161 / 37 into Granville. Several of us slowed down at that point, but you were on a mission....
We saw him and were behind a a few other cars to get off at the exit there. Near and past that bridge I know was at or below the speed limit.
Vicki & I had a FABULOUS time with you guys today! The weather was gorgeous, the leaves were perfect, and everyone was a hoot to be around! I will definitely be getting the leak checked this week; my fan is STILL running and we've been parked for 15 minutes. The drive down to Tazewell was also fantastic. We were making excellent time, so we made several stops on the way down to take pics, shop (alas, nothing interesting to buy) and enjoy the scenery. When we finally got to Tazewell, we lost cell service, so the automatic GPS updating on the map was NOT working. After several phone calls to the hotel for assistance with directions, I ended up cancelling the reservation and driving an 30-45 minutes beyond my original destination, but it's all good right now. I forgot how quickly the sun sets in the mountains! Gorgeous pics, though. Hopefully we can get the pics uploaded by Monday night.
I saw you guys coming up 33 and was worried when I didn't see gnat. Then breathed a big sigh when I saw gnat go past.
Some other roads that Chuck (Crashton) knows like the back of his hand. A longer run than today, great scenery and east of where we were today. The best run is a memorial event called River Run. We'll keep you updated so that you and others can make it next year. Thanks for joining us ...that Justa hauled arse today ...and was piloted well.!!!!
Sorry I missed all the fun...damn commitments --- I am here: [ame="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.092283,-84.471616"]Google Maps[/ame]
I passed on the other side of 33 between 270 and Canal Winchester, we went to Lancaster for a birthday party. Had I known how perfect your timing would be I would have just taken the boys on the run and gone to the party.
I missed you all Saturday. Yet, while I was in Yellowstone Friday, I was oddly reminded of Silverbacks....
If you see wildlife you need to take it down!! This is my cousin with the 830 pound moose he shot this weekend. Looks like we will be getting moose steaks and jerky for Christmas this year!
