It is not as noisy as the hatch, the suspension seems tighter and I like watching the spoiler go up and down. Not real wild about the automatic trans. I want to shift before it does. Sport mode is also strange with an auto.

Nice car and it has be thinking coupe again.

Let me know of you figure out the :all black" trick on the configurer.

I was actually thinking that Dave. Volcanic Orange looks a lot like Mellow Yellow to me and I like the plate idea. :D

Yeah well the "flash" I was going to post would not have been M/A site rated or very attractive.

Just think of being flashed and your memory being scared for life.

    Glad you got Froggie back.

    Thanks Dave:

    1) For not posting your "flash" picture and getting Nathan all upset.

    2) For the kind words about Foggie.

BTW: I would have liked to seen that picture.:lol:

I hope it is an easy fix for you. I wondering if there is a bad ground or positive connection at the started. I don't think it is Saturday, mine doesn't like Monday's.

Can you push start Foggie? If so does she run OK?

You can run it down to a Autozone they can check the charging system and the starter. If the starter is pulling to much amperage it can where down the battery.

Don't the batteries in these newer MINIs need to be coded when they installed?

If I understand the reasoning behind this it goes like so.

As the battery is "worn out" it take more and more to keep ti charged. The computer keeps track of this and sends more juice to the battery as it gets "worn out". Installing a new battery flummox's the system causing the charging system to send too much juice to the new battery that doesn't need as much to keep a full a charge.

It's not all MINIs that need coding after a battery change. 1st Gen MINIs do not need this. As I understand this process not all 2nd Gen MINIs need it either. They started this in the past few years I seem to remember.

Be nice to get something definitive on this matter.

This is also my understanding or misunderstanding.

    According to "B"......

    Battery registration:
On vehicles fitted with intelligent battery sensor (IBS), you need to register the replacement battery to the vehicle with the MINI scan tool. Without new battery registration, odd electrical system behavior and electrical system faults may result....
