Join a MINI club! I get a 10% discount on anything I buy at my local dealer. I bought a package of six oem filters from Out Motoring

MINI Cooper Oil Filter

I get MINI brand oil from the dealer for $7 a quart, so there's about $40 an oil change.

I haven't had to change my own oil yet, but I'm ready!

I don't drive the MINI very much! I have six other cars to wear out, I can't drive them all at once!

I only use the OEM filters with Amsoil every 4k. 80k on a very modded motor and no oil issues.

 

What Amsoil do you run?

 

Yep as a person who will only buy products through you guys I will end up purchasing a few filters through you guys, but I do prefer the AmsOil.

 

I've ran into the same problems Chad has with the non OEM filters, So we only use OEM MINI filters and will not recommend anything else.

we can get you amsoil if you like, but thru our testing it's a very tick oil and you lose HP with it, but the protection is just fine. just give us a call and we can set you up if you like. or just ship you a few filters at a time to save on shipping.

 

Have been using NAPA lately.

 

Wix are the makers of NAPA Silverline & Goldline filters. Wix filters are pretty highly regarded. I've not used them in a MINI. So no direct experience.
