Places to stop on trip from St. Louis to Fontana
Next time you go I know of 2 great places to stop on the route your taking.
Pattie's Settlement in Grand Rivers, KY at KY Lake & Pancake Pantry on the west side of Nashville near Vanderbuilt.
Patties has the best slow cooke 2in pork chops in the midwest and Pantry
has the best pancakes and specialty syrups_I like the cinnamon.
I have listed a link to both below:
Pattis 1880s Restaurant Grand Rivers Kentucky
Pancake Pantry

Thanks Mark, I'll be extra careful. Being this will be my first run of the Dragon, I don't want any parts of my MINI hanging from the "Tree of Shame".
We plan to leave around 6:30 in the morning to miss the Columbus traffic and then try and time breakfast at a Cracker Barrel along the way to try and miss the Cincinnati craziness. I put a coat of Hydro on the front so hopefully the bugs will come off easier and B/W'd all the trim, so the MINI is looking good. -

She should fit in that R56 secret cubby above the glove box. Have fun!
You know if you jump off I 75 in Lake City TN it's a short hop to some nice roads. I think it's called the devils triangle. Who comes up with these hoakey names any-who? It's a very nice road that you'll enjoy. You can find a map on the dragon site.
There is also a good Mex restaurant next to McD's. The dog will feel at home. -
