Me thinks it might be slow around here this weekend, with with so many at the Dragon, but I'm sure the tall tales and pictures will flow come Monday, Monday.

Cool sign. As bad as that road is for trucks and as many accidents as they have had, does anyone know why they allow them on it? There must be another way since they went some place while it was closed. I have seen sections pof roads that were "closed to trucks over XXXXXX".

I've seen those signs around the Dragon.

There are some roads in TN & NC that do not allow big rigs. US 129 is not one of them. I wonder if it is because it is a US route? I've never encountered a semi on the dragon, but saw one come out of the rain & fog one morning while parked at the overlook. Damn scary.

I saw that on the way out of dodge. By the next time I went down there, a year later I'd forgotten all about that. Having a bad memory can be a blessing.

Wish we could make the fall Dragon run but R&D on new aero aids and tweeking the others is keeping us busy :crazy:.
We will miss seeing everyone, but by next spring we'll be ready.
Have FUN, drive hard and come home safe

Well......
When you have to go, you have to go. This guy had to go from a high point. This was on the MSSD going to Tellico Plains.

Fun was had by all... and no ticket this year for me.. One guy did get a "warning" ticket for running just over 50 on the dragon!!! Talk about luck!!! Yes, large turn out from the THMMC group...
