So I wanted to share a journey back in time with a pic of the Wipacs.

In all the pictures I saw of the classic Mini, the lights were spaced like this, so that is the look I went for.

Yes and yes. I had only ordered two driving lights originally from VIP, because I was going to use my OEM lights on the outside, but changed my mind. I ordered two more Hella 500's on line and when they arrived I noticed that the attachment bolt was way longer then the other two. I then learned that VIP cuts the bolt shorter and re threads it, which is nice. I suggest you buy the bar and lights as a complete package from VIP. They also supply the wiring harness and complete instructions.

I bought mine from Outmotoring....that **** isn't gonna move

I bought them specifically to break up the big bumper of the R56.
They do not block airflow at all.

 

Got mine from Outmotoring also, they had to be bent down slightly to fit the black magics.

 

Bent down? How and why?
I can't see bending them if you are not Superman...
and why did they need bending? I had Black Magics as well.

 

The tabs that the lights mount to, not hard to bend and not much was needed. When I was setting up the alignment I couldn't get it correct without slightly bending downward a little.
