I'm Jonesing for a new coupe....has to be a JCW (I'm spoiled)

 

If I still want one once they actually come out, I'm going to wait a year or 2 to let them work out the bugs, and or the upgrades..

 

Leave it to BMW to put a German helmet on a MINI.

Sounds pretty sweet!!!

 

I'll have to wait until I see it in person before my final opinion, but from all the pictures I've seen, don't like the helmet roofline. Specs are great, but not sure I like the looks of it.

 

.....and/or the new motor has come out.

Me too.

A Mini technician I know has been to the plant and says that while the production Coupe will be exactly like the spy-shots car, the production Roadster will be "nothing like" the one thas has been seen.

He wouldn't be drawn on what the difference(s) were, but he seemed pretty certain.

 

I wouldn't have thought they would be changing it up at this point in the game.. Just my thinking of course..

I hope they make it "cooler" then and not mess it up from what we have seen in the past..

 

Dump the "electronic differential" for a mechanical again and I'm interested.

I'm still out on the style. Some shots look good. Others look goofy. We'll see.

still shocked they haven't upped the power on the JCW model.
