Nice that your giving us a chance at your car, but, have you takin it to Carmax? We took the wife's car, 09 MCS, more options than yours, and less miles, 35k, but still, it's a year older and they offered $18k. Might be worth a try?
Haven't gone yet but the mileage is gonna kill the trade in value. I will trade it a couple months from now if I can't sell it private party.
Got a good buy on the MINI and convinced the Wife to let me get it. 2014 Mustang GT with the track package.
Congrats on the nice new toy. That new Coyote engine really is a wonderful beast. Enjoy it! I would love to have one but I really love the MINI's 30+ MPG even more.
Im still trying to figure out how you convinced the wife that , that Mustang is the new fuel efficient Focus....The Mustang is super sexy by the way!!
Well, part of the convo was/is private. Sorry. The other part was never concerned with fuel mileage. It was the space and utility of the vehicle. I managed to wear her down and change her mind. Plus, day after we picked it up she asked to drive it to try it out and run errands. I laughed and told her she has equal right to drive it. She came home later and with a huge sh*t eating grin said, "Ummm... I'm really glad we got the Mustang. It's really awesome to drive." All I could do was laugh. Wife is fully convinced.
Not 100% on that yet. The MINI taught me much about having a good track day. Four items will be needed before the track day: Replace OE DOT4 Brake fluid with RBF600, Swap brake pads for EBC Yellows(or equivalent), Spare set of wheels, and a good set of tires for the track. It will be the day after but you've got the right idea.
