On the Autobahn the left lane is the fast lane....and the Europeans know it. If you're not running at least 200 klics, you had better get out of the way!
I think it is unenforceable, but maybe it will make few folks be better about not being left lane campers. That would be a good thing. I drive 270 everyday & some folks are just pitiful about camping in the left lane. Yep they teach folks how to drive over there Mark. In this great land of ours people do not learn how to drive. Our system is a bad joke.
I think it would be nice to have it just so officers CAN enforce it if someone is blatantly cruising in the fast lane.
Knowing how to "understand" US laws might help the majority of the CA offenders, thus enhancing the enforcement aspect of the issue. And no, I'm not profiling..... I'm just say'n. :mad2:
Looks like we will go to a 70 MPH limit. Guess I'll move on up to 75. :ihih: Too bad the left lane camper law was not included. ut:
I was thoroughly disappointed when I drove out to Pennsylvania recently and was waiting for the limit to go up...nope 65 all the way to Wheeling, what the heck? I'm used to the wide open roads of the Southwest (lived 20+ years in Phoenix, AZ) and the interstate limits out there were 55 or 65 city and 75 highway, but they made 85+ criminal speeding, still doesn't stop people from going 90+ though. I'll continue my own belief that "reasonable and prudent" is the correct limit, and I'll continue to pay the "speeding tax" as a result of my actions. lol Happy motoring!
