1st Gen R53 Cooper S Oil catch can subject...again.

    I would assume that it is preventative measure for keeping the IC clean more than anything. Valve build up I know is a non-issue with our injection system and will be even less so when I get the meth system installed.

    I fitted one ( two) because I read the oil in the fuel can...I say can, lower the fuel octane rating. Seeing as Costa Rica crappy fuel from China the 13:1 CR of the Swift engine used to pink like crazy as it was an old tech engine without a anti-knock sensor. I added a catch tank which removed the pinking. So based on that I added two catch tanks to the Mini.

    I believe the power increase was enough to break the Midlands box LOL

    I picked up a cheap catch can, but it was too tall to fit in the intended area.

    So I ended up getting a smaller and better one that I know will fit.
