    Nice...

One small suggestion.... If this MINI sees really cold temperatures in the winter... You will probably want to get rid of that low point in the two hoses.... It's always best to have the hose so the fluids drain down hill to the can .....

The dip in the hoses can be a small low point where water vapors can collect.... Get enough water condensed there and when the temperatures drop you will end up with a frozen ice plug until the heat from the engine finally reaches "normal"operating temperature and melts it....

All the while the plug is a solid chunk of ice.... Your PCV system will be totally shut down.... Then you need to be concerned with increased crankcase pressures playing havoc with seals and everything else that goes wrong with high crankcase pressure until it turns back to water.

You may have noticed there was a strange electrical connection at the base of the short OEM hose you removed when you added the new OCC hoses.... That short hose drained down hill and that electrical connector is attached to a small hose heater that keeps ice from forming at the junction where filtered air enters the turbo...

Now if you don't live in an area where water freezes in the winter.... Well then... You should be OK...:D

More than likely your belt is slipping. I had the same problem. When was the last time you changed your belt and tensioner?

Or you OEM rubber crank pulley is about to die if it is still the same one from the factory.

You don't want that to happen when driving. :frown2:

    I sold it! :yikes:

No I'm installing it for a friend that has a countryman. I hate to run the hoses from one side of the car to the other but I can't find a good place for it.

Thanks! I was a little worried about putting it so far away. it gets below freezing here but it is unusual to get in to the teens.
I reconnected the wire you were talking about, wasn't sure what it went to.
I will take care of the low spot.
