    After 64000 km (40,000 miles) your MINI had bad valve stem seals?

    Seems very unusual.... Glad you got to the bottom of this...

    This is the first I've heard of this.....

    Maybe Peugeot got a bad batch & passed them off on MINI. :wink: That is low mileage for such an issue.

    Metalman, yes indeed, I was told that this is only the second time in the entire life cycle of the r56 that he has seen a seal problem... But so happy it's fixed! Gotta thank you as well for all your help!

    I'm assuming he did all of the valve stem seals...? So he had the machary to get the job done, great!
