I do all those things to my MINI as well, but then I also carry on conversations with the horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats.

For the longest time the only picture in my wallet was of my MINI. Then my wife found out........now its a picture of our three MINIs.

When Henrietta takes a sharp turn so smooth and accelerates through I always give her a pat on the steering wheel. If I'm really pumped I yell "at a girl!" Typically I talk to her like a jockey does to a horse. :cornut:

 

I've even talked to screw drivers. Not gonna say what I've said to 'em, Nathan would ban me fer sure.

 

:cornut: I talk to my MARGI(08 R56 BRG MCS/JCWm) all the time. I would venture to guess that many/most MINIacs talk to their MINIs. Kitty MINI even goes out to her garage to check on her baby at bed time.

Welp.....
I do "Date Nite" with my wife at least two nights a week... Seems to make us both happy.... And it gets me out of the kitchen two nights a week as well... I get to let someone else cook...

We both like discovering new local restaurants.

Yes, I commend great behavior of my MINI quite frequently!

 

*sheepishly* Yes. Frequently. First I name the darned thing, and then I start talking to it... And when he got hit in December, as I saw him ride off on the tow truck, I told him not to worry. He'll be as good as new soon. :wink:

I do have to say I am guilty of this as well. My wife often refers to her as some sort of Prostitute or Hooker.

 

Basiclly you and the rest of the respondants to this thread are completely insane and should seek profesional help.....and when you do, could you please pass along a name & phone number so that I may make an appointment also...solo or group session, doesn't matter much to me.

 

I do this to my Subaru. There has been snow on the roads in my area and when I come home from work I take the back roads. She corners like a champ. I always pat her on the dashboard and say "Good girl!"
