We ran the military group page 'till it ran out of steam. Maybe we need to start an Old Guy group and see how far that can be pushed. We need more Old Guys to help maintain order and to make sure the beer is kept at the PROPER temperature. Welcome to MINIland.

The Old Guy's group is up and running. Look for Social Groups in User CP. The name of the group is EMTS (Elderly MINI Thrill Seekers). Our motto coined by jbewley: "Old and treacherous thumps young and daring"

    Welp....
That would make you an old shiftless person I guess. That would not be good.

You are old Jim, just not older. :D

Let's put this question to Crash, as he is the founder of the Old Farts Driving Club. What ages shall we set for membership?

If you know the speed setting on a phonograph player then your old enough. And you need to know all of them.

You can't be. If I remember correctly you only retired recently with 20. So give us a birthday date.

    Jim

BTW: Never mind Jason. 59 is still just a kid.

Old is subjective, I will feel old when I cannot shift the automatic trans in my MINI. :)

There are two schools of thought on this subject to wit: Geezery and Geezology. Neither are something that you just fall in to. Think of the first time you started to notice girls and how long it took to get with that program. Just 'cause the clock ticks over doesn't mean you are ready to take on the title. I've been studying the ways of my hero, Walter Matthau for years and still don't feel up to his standard. There's more Zen to Geezery than there is to MINI motoring.
