Oh man Nathan, sorry for the trouble.
No worries, I haven't met any "don't need to sat the N word" tools on here. I'm sure everyone understands. My husband runs a couple forums and can relate.

Don't sweat it guy. If anything it gives us something non-Drgaon related to talk about. Thanks for the prompt email btw, it sure beats the pants off the members trying to figure out what happened WEEKS after a site goes down.

It is too bad about what happened and I know that Nathan will beat himself up for it for a while. But it happens and we move on. -

Nathan...I know your pain. I'm an IT manager for an IT consulting company...seen it, lived it, never miss it.
what db do you use? I may be able to point you to a few tools to assist with backups and copies...etc...

So long as it is up and going foward. :arf:
Lost a little history (maybe a small gap), but things have the way of repeating themselves.
Nice to see you back Nate and very good PR with the email.

I know how you feel, Nathan.
There was one time in my career when I worked at a phone company where I delete an entire day's of long distance data while on a late night call-out. That was worth a few million. Thankfully, my system had just completed a full back-up not 5 minutes before it happened. But for that moment when you realize what you did and when you can make the recovery, your heart goes through the floor.
You'll laugh about it and call it a great learning experience when this is all over. -
