Don't know him but my sympathies and prayers go out to him and all his family and friends... Cancer has to be removed from our existence.
I was notified via my West Coast MINI folks that Dwight passed this morning. A tribute album has been posted on FB, not sure if it will be open to all. Here is the link. Dwight He will be missed by a lot of folks, he was a good MINI guy. Don
Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and we'll keep Dwight in our prayers. Please keep us updated. News of his passing was posted 1 minute before I made this post. Sorry to hear the news. Godspeed my friend. Prayers and support to the family.
Happy Trails Dwight, I'm sure gonna miss you on the forum. I never met you, but I sure would have liked to. I just know you are out west somewhere, shifting the gears, and keeping the boost up at around 20psi, with a big smile on your face, doing what you liked. Be seeing you buddy.....
Man cancer sucks...we all have lost too many good people to it. I never knew Dwight but my thoughts are with his family and friends.
I never got to meet Dwight, but I did get to know him. I can't count the number of times he and I chatted on the phone. He would call with a simple MINI question and we would end up talking about Porsches or other old British cars. I really enjoyed talking to him, what a nice old guy he was. This makes me so sad as he may have been a customer, but I would have considered him a friend. Meeting people like him really makes me like my job, even though I get stressed out and overwork myself. You will be missed, thank you for the memories. WAY
Nathan, Is it possible to have a special icon next to Dwight's name (and others as the need arises) to denote "Gone, but not forgotten"?
