my cars a 2004 JCW the things done to it are Header, jcw exhuast with deleted resonator, CAI, assuming it has the smaller pulley like all jcw's do, and recently i just bought a Schrick cam but its not installed yet. My question..should i go one step colder plugs? i researched but i couldnt come up with much considering the new cam thats going in.
I believe the JCW plugs are 1 heat range colder than the standard MCS plug. Could be wrong, but I seem to remember reading that somewhere. Why do you believe you need colder plugs?
Lots of folks seem to have issues with all the latest & greatest plugs. NGK FTW, at least for my money.
:cornut: I was just wondering..........what(generic market equivalent)kind of plugs does Mini put in my car(08 R56 MCS/JCWm)? Yes I know that they are Mini plugs which means that some one else made them and put the Mini/BMW brand on them but, who makes them and how do they equate to the NGK plugs that y'all are talking about? Jason Addendum: Well I answered my own question by going to y'all's site. You don't carry plugs for 08 R56 JCW engines. You only carry them for the MCS. Oh well.
You can also get them here cheap. 05 2005 Mini Cooper Spark Plug - Engine Electrical - AC Delco, Bosch, Champion, Denso, Motorcraft, NGK - PartsGeek
