Did find some video of Bridgehampton, nice one on the 65 race but not this one on the 14, but the 110 lapper on the 28th. I will see if I can get a link to it. Good race, some sadness as things broke as they always do in racing. Big fast sports races, Cobras etc. Will watch again when I find it again.

Thanks Chuck...
Enjoyed it.... That was fun...
I'll bet hitting those sandy patches on the track added excitement.... -
Really too bad it's a golf course now!

That was a blast Chuck, thanks.
Yep, enough sand on that track to have called it a beach race! -

Scott I'm sure that sand was a son of a beach.

Amazing that they had in-car footage in an amatuer (right?) race too!
Exceptional film - thank you for sharing! -
I was lucky enough to run a kart at Bridgehampton in the 60s. I remember the sand very well!!! Very hard race track to get to, but it was a great course. The sand was imposable for the Karts to deal with, but cars did not have that much trouble from what I remember. They had at least one Can-Am races there. Car & Driver did a really cool road test there. They got Masten Gregory (who drove for the Cooper F-1 team) to test a bunch of muscle cars at Bridgehampton. The whole thing was a hoot. They were supposed to be regular production cars. The Ford was delivered by Bud Moore. It went downhill from there. Thank you for sharing the video. Great footage!! I really enjoyed it. Do you remember who was in the Corvette? Dick Thompson was a friend of my fathers.

I remember my dad owning this footage on a vhs when we were younger, he recently had it put on dvd (with https://www.supaphoto.com/video-to-dvd.html I think) an we watched it on the tv, really was amazing to see how different times were! -
