I thought about doing the whole cap but was a toss-up, I also thought about making then very center red, kinda reminisent of the bullseye on a WW II Spitfire. The more I look at it on the car I am starting to like it.

Looks very nice to me. Subtle, color coordinated with the car, complimentary nonclashing colors, class act.

I like it. If I'd done it I probably would have been inclined to paint the entire cap green (other than the MINI center) but that might be too much...maybe. It looks good. I'll second Jason's comments.

I had similar thoughts when I put black and white checkerboard on the bonnet scoop and boot handle(side scuttles, side and rear view mirrors already checkerboard). Sort of like a WWI fighter plane. But for most, probably too ostentatious. I'd load pictures but I think that my grand son is out on a date and old grampa doesn't know how to do it.:nonod:

Very nice! I'm not a fan of the dark green in general, but this is a very tasteful and unique design accent. Big kudos for keeping it subtle!
