Okay, I feel silly! I saw this car and met the owners last year at DC Metro MINI's 1 lap of the beltway charity run. This weekend I'm down in Orlando for Mickey & MINI's. I was looking at this same MINI and never put two and two together as that being the same MINI. DUH! Top that off, not only did I vote for it in MA's MINI of the month competition, I also voted for it at the car show yesterday! You really need to see it in person. I own a bodyshop and can attest that this is one sharp little MINI!

On the body color on the roof, I got the same response. Actually on BOTH MINIs, each PW/W, I actually really like the white roof on blue or red MINIs but still.

On the 6' hallway, one of the BEST memories of my first MINI was that my dealer had it in his showroom, and when all was done, he just said, 'OK drive it out' and with all these people in there clapping, I drove it out of the standard commercial exterior double-doors. It was a trip. I admit, i tucked the mirrors...

Dale, I remember meeting you in MD. Someone was at the dinner on Friday night and won the prize for the furthest drive to FL. I thought that was you. I asked the guy if it was you and he was in such a hurry to get up to collect his prize I didn't hear what he said. Were you at the dinner on Friday?

 

That first picture in this post...the one with me and my husband and dog was taken at the Charity run.

 

Sorry, that wasn't me. That was Steve, Baby BMW on the Hampton Roads club MINI boards. I skipped the dinner but wish I had gone, I heard it was fun. Hope to see y'all again next year! And congrats again on MINI of month.
