in my case i did a nationwide search for the best dealer and the best deal...and my buddy talked to his sales boss and they came up with a sweetheart deal for me which blew all other offers cross the country...even ones here in cali...and since i found a buyer for my R53 in Tampa...so i can turn right around and go to the dealership in at MINI of Tampa Bay and roll out with my new shiny toy
Hey Dude I forgot to ask you tonight if you'll be doing the car show next week with your Classic....?
You might want to ask your buyer if they want an 'in-and-out'. My dealership in Dallas did one for me when I bought a MINI back in 2006. You technically sell your car to the dealership, who then sells it to the new buyer. That way it's all above board and both sides might feel more at ease. The dealership will also help with all of the tax, tag, title paperwork. I think they usually charge $100-150, but I got 'em to throw it in as a part of the transaction on the new car. Just a thought!
its no worries...the guy buying it is the husband of a good friend of mine...they have riden in her...they know exactly whats in her and everything is done...they even have a bill of sale...all i have to do is show up and sign the title over...then its up to them to take care of the rest from there
thanks....it feels weird that i ordered this one...and to see my creation in the flesh and not just a stock photo on the configurator
