Awesome pics Roger! I frigg'n love your car.
What a great trip with your MINI. I enjoy the pics too!! Dang, now my heart is wondering about trading my Mazdaspeed for a Paceman,,,,,:cornut:
Nice pics, brings back memories. When I was stationed at Ft Carson I used to go up to Pikes Peak alot.
Great pics, thanks for sharing.
Took my MINI up there after a MITM a few years back when there was still quite a bit of gravel roads. What a mess it made on the car, so worth it for the views.
Awesome pictures Roger.
i am up near reno, nv for training and i had a couple of mini owners comment about who they didnt feel my paceman was a real mini...decided to take them on a little spin in the winding roads around here...lets just say they changed their opinion...there is a reason why i got a JCW...as ive said before dont let the car fool you....big girl can run
Angry Panda Power.
I really like your car! Actually- I like all the Mini's. They all look and ride differently than the "lemming cars" out there.
I drive tons of miles a week- can you say 2,400 miles in less than a month! Those miles are so much more fun in the Mini!
I even look for longer twisty rides to go from point A to B! I'd rather add 5 more minutes of fun riding than sitting in a Dunkin Donut drive thru breathing SUV and Truck fumes.
oh i agree completely...its one of the reasons why i took a side trip on my way west to run pikes peak
decided on a first mod...going to get the BMW clutch stop to shorten up the pedal travel
since im up near reno for some military training i decided to go for a drive and tackled Mr Rose which is south of reno and stopped over in Tahoe...
sitting on the summit of Mt Rose
no worries...the lettering is coming off when i get back home...i didnt really want to toy with it sitting in the parking lot of the barracks on the base where im at
on the overlook of Lake Tahoe
Got my hands on the Euro JCW GP2 style aero belly pan! Just a couple of extra clips and speed screws and she is on! Havent had a chance to take it for a drive yet...
this thread makes me feel that my Paceman JCW will be worth the wait
Did you leave us in the Golden State yet Roger?
i did...unfortunely the navy decided i had to leave even sooner than i wanted so i had to move out of my apartment quick fast and head east
See you at the Dragon Roger.:beer
Sorry to hear you're outa here so fast. I hope we can raise a glass again one day soon! You're a good friend. All the best!!
Beautiful ride. Enjoy
