    My Roadster "John Bull" rolled off the truck at MINI of Sterling today! Delivery first thing Monday morning!

    My ship docks in Baltimore Wednesday 10/2 at 4:00 AM (10 hours away!). My dealership is an hour's drive from the port. When...do...I...get...my...Roadster?

    As of today, '14 MCS Roadster John Bull is in the tampadave garage in Clifton, VA! I am officially a MINI owner! :cool:

    Here is a picture to prove I really took it home. I took the wife for a quick spin and she really liked it, though she's not ready to give up her Jaguar XF. More pictures to come when I get him outside in the sun, top down!

    Drainage from the drive through the thunderstorm. Honestly, I almost felt compelled to explain the puddle when I first posted the picture. It looks like I pissed myself in all the excitement of bringing John Bull home.

    Okay! Finally a few outside pictures of John Bull. I've quickly discovered that motoring in a MINI is far different than driving a car. This Roadster will be an adventure, my friends!

    Pictures will be forthcoming upon delivery of my Roadster.

    Buying the Roadster now is like an insurance policy. If I don't like the new MINI 'sports car' in 2015 or 2016, I can keep mine. If I like it, I sell or trade the '14 Roadster.

    I lived in Burke for 13 years prior to relocating to the Midwest. Clifton was one of our favorite local hangouts. Clifton Rd and Henderson Rd are going to give you a quick appreciation for how fun your new ride can be. :Thumbsup:
