There is a big sign at all IKEA stores telling the workers not to remove the little Allen wrenches from the premises. These are the wrenches that are needed to assemble the KD furniture. Musta been his first day at work.

Was that our Cooper? Did they find the diet coke & skittles? That may be maximum force in the UK, but here in Cowtown that is a friendly stop.
Love the Tracy Chapman soundtrack, simply brilliant! -

Thanks Jafar. When you look at the still photo of the windshield being smashed, it's fortunate nothing went in the cops eyes. Note to self, where eye protection when using baseball bat on MINI windshield

All THAT over a stolen MINI...yes, yes, I know, it IS a MINI, but if I were the owner, I'd be mighty ticked at the unnecessary damage.
I wonder who ended up paying for the repair costs?
I did chuckle at one of the comments beneath the story and I have to admit, it makes sense.
"There is absolutely no indication who or what those men outside the car are. Given the level of street violence in the UK any sensible person would assume that they are being attacked by mindless thugs and drive off as fast as possible. Even if the thugs shouted that they were police anybody can shout out anything and if I were intent on either robbery or kidnap such a claim would have been in my criminal interests."
