Which cowl vent has the outside air intake for the AC system? Got some cleaner to try and get rid of the odor and I am not sure if it is on the passenger or drivers side cowl vent.

Not sure, but have you changed the cabin filter (underneath the dash on passenger side)?

If you haven't, wear hazmat gloves when you do.... You will be surprised by what you find.

The intake is inside the pass cowl area. It is waaay down towards the bottom of that cavity.

Mold odor can be a blocked plug for the condensation. From under the car you can find a rectangular tube that needs to be checked. Water should drip freely out of there.

First the filter needs changing. They get really nasty fast and if never changed it often is actually scary looking.

I have Gen 2, but I found a squirrel's nest in mine, after only a few months. It's a good thing to check regularly.
