From the responses I see over on the Sewing Site, some think that quantity is quality. I guess if the majority of posts are useless it takes a lot of them to get anything out of hanging there. Oh.....and Dave, you've achieved Icon status on the NAM!!!! BRAVO!!!
I hate the NAM and all the Mods on it are toolbags. I hope that site goes down the toilet and the TP is the rag known as MC2. For people that have PMed me asking where I have been, I am still here I just don't post as much now. Nothing exciting going on worth posting about. Let's face the facts, MINI is a fad and the enthuest excitement is down the drain and the car is no long unique or "not normal". Thanks BMW We need a good old "what wipers, fuel, oil, air filter or tires do you use" thread :lol: JUST KIDDING!
Well, if that's how you feel Dave...how much h/p will I gain by installing high speed, ventilated windshield wipers? And, what will they sound like? :confused5::confused5:
Look, there's more to it than just the wipers. Anyone can put in high performance wipers, but getting them properly tuned for optimized performance, that's the the trick. Dick blew his car up tuning his wipers. IMHO the only way to properly tune the wipers is to ditch the ECU, put in a Vipec, and tune them on a dynapack.
And the truth comes out! Zillon, funny story but my R60 might have pink tail lights one day next weekend...

Other than a suggestion to start showing pictures of nude chicks in MINIs, this is the most interesting thing I've seen on NAM lately: "Wasn't long ago a few guys (cheeky hooligan fun seekers) posted some obnoxious stuff just so they could have bragging rights on another forum for getting banned from NAM." So, what's this other forum they're talking about? :wink:

Wow! I can't believe I just read through that entire thread, then poked around a bit... They are seriously calling M/A a dead site? In that hour I spent perusing that hole, I saw not one single post of any kind of value with a date tag newer than 2014! Love the one guy in the thread that started this mess that said "there is NOTHING for a Countryman owner" here on M/A... There are a few of us on here that have the hefty MINI, and love them, its just not many of us talk about our "other" MINI. Given the opportunity though, I always at least pop into the threads to see what's going on.
Isn't it a crack up. That s***hole of a site is bleeding a slow death and becoming less than worthy by the day. It's great to see some of you guys offering words of support and directing folks here. It's just the right thing to do.
I even tried to re register over there, so I could join in... But, honestly NAM isn't worth creating a new email account.
