One thing that my 2002 MCS had that my 2006 does not is the overhead clock. The speedometer clock is small and hard to read. I found a couple of overhead clocks from a 2003 on eBay. Can this be installed on a 2006? There must be power up there, probably would have to figure out how to mount. Anyone have any experience doing this?

Never have seen it done. But since you are so close to Keith at Werkin MINI I'd give him a shout and see if he knows.
I haven't done this but years (close to 8) ago I bought a set off ebay with a Chrysler 300M clock to convert it to analog. I never got around to it, I figured the wiring would be a pain and ended up deciding a boost gauge or autometer clock would look better. So that's an option. I still have the parts if you need them.
Funny...I do too... Everybody else takes their phone out to check the time...or more often than not...NEVER PUTS IN IN THEIR POCKET!! they just text away as you talk to them.... So much for getting a persons UNDIVIDED ATTENTION....
