Thanks Robin.
A trip to the dealer is planned for tomorrow. We had some starter issues a couple of weeks ago. They said it was the CAS, so they reflashed it. I think the thing needs to be replaced.
Read this thread I started.

Good luck with it. I think the circuitry in the MINI has some strange aspects to it. I added an audio amp and used an Add-A-Circuit tap in a climate control fuse socket. As a result, it merged the front right and left speaker channels together. So, I moved the tap to the park distance control circuit and it moved one of the PDC alert sounds from the right rear speaker to the left front left.
The MINI X9331 connector under the dash. It carries 12 wires. Eight of them are audio signals, one is for the engine starter motor, and the rest are climate control? I wonder what the electrical engineers were smoking when the designed the 2nd Gen MINI? -
Odd that a O2 sensor would go at 20K................

All of this started after we had it in 2 weeks ago for what we thought was a bad starter. Like Mark said, they reflashed the CAS, the MINI hasn't been right since. We drove it 40 miles to the airport & back tonight Hopefully he's throwing some good codes for them.
