That would require something to hook it too. My car insurance includes towing for a lot less than the combined cost of trailer and tow vehicle. Plus I'd need a storage location. The current methods have worked, it ain't broke, so why fix it. BTW, the grass there could use a trim.

Looking at Nathan's last picture, it strikes me that the "crank end" bearing diameter seems to be a nice hefty diameter for a small displacement 4 cylinder. Unless the camera angle is distorting the size.
It's amazing that the engineers got away with "over engineering" the the crank bearing size to handle that kind of power. The bean counter must have been asleep when the engine was originally developed.
