Just installed my Craven Speed ScangaugeII mount. Just a small tip for you if you're going this route, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. :mad2: The cradle is cracked a little but it's still functional. I'll live.

Oh no! Thanks for the warning - I'm sorry you had to experience that. :(

I'm still agonizing over which to get. I really like the sleekness of the P3Cars but it's much more expensive than the Scangauge. I also appreciate that the Scangauge displays multiple parameters at a time.

One concern I have about the Scangauge is that I'm afraid some tool is going to break into my car and try to steal it. I'm paranoid about leaving things in view...but it's encouraging to see so many of you have one.

But the P3Cars looks so nice!

    Decisions, decisions. :)

I thought about that once but then I thought: 1) No one really knows what this is. 2) If I feel that this is a risk, it's easy enough to take with me it's so small (I'm already doing the same with the radio).

It is very easy to remove and replace. Just take it off and put it in the glove box if you want.

But I agree, no one really knows what it is so it is less likely to be wanted by a thief.
