When I ordered my car back in 2005 they told me I would NEED to add a few things like paint sealer. I told the salesman I was paying the number from the web plus tax or I was buying my car from another dealer. Sure enough when I picked up my car they tried to add in under carriage something or another. I told them they could either give it to me for free or they could go peal whatever they put on the car off.
You have discovered why people think car dealers are scum balls.
Is it bad that now I am excited that you are picking up a new car on Saturday? Just something about someone getting a new car always gets me excited![]()

Dealers will try to sneak that in on people, and even if they accomplish it once a month it is profitable. Glad to hear they removed the charge though.

This is correct. The smart dealers realize service is what makes one come back & do another 3.
Paint sealant is nothing more that additional dealer profit. From all of the good things I've heard about the dealer you bought from this surprises me.
Now how about those pictures Don?

700 buys a lotta Turtle Wax. Just sayin'. I was surprised too.
Soon, Chuck, soon. Apparently my stripes were added by a guy named Mike. They hoisted it up to the top of the shop and he laid on scaffolding to apply em', upside down.
Thanks for the info ya'll.
