Last time visiting BMW dealer I have noticed they offer to sell trims in body color (not just black as I see all around). It surprised me when it is offered no one is having it. I am talking about painted: wheel arches trims side skirts trim front bumper trim rear bumper trim I would like to see the same on dark gray Mini (any pictures around?) and also opinion why is this not popular? thanks a lot!
Didn't know that was offered. I like color coded arches on a case by case basis, but it can look VERY good.
Really... see this. Primed parts ready for paint (for example 51777216071): RealOEM.com  BMW R56 Cooper S Cover for rocker panel / wheel arch
WOW that does look really good on your car in that color. I did think about painting my R53 trim long ago but I have a Chili Red w/ Black roof and since I blacked everything out I like how the Black trim "Frames" my Silver rims.
Every time are becoming more MINI's equal, but everything has to do with the combo people have... another wheels, paint :beer. Looks good
I don't think the blue MINI was the OP's, he asks about dark grey color in the post. Not sure how a grey color would look.....
Looks nice and is almost like having an aero kit effect without the big expense. Maybe that's why the dealers do not push it.:nonod:
