    The story on mini's is one of evolution....the passenger seat sensors were added in production year 2005+ cars as the law required....
    Many parts were changed and upgraded.... Sometimes not backward compatible...
    So the production date, or much more specific the Vin is useful for making sure you get the right part....
    And off the top of my head, I do believe there are 2 ddifferent seat sensors (mats) that are usually sold with the seatbottom....but check with e-mini parts folks....prices tend to be much better than the local dealers...by 15-20% (that being said, they are MY local dealer:cornut:).

    I here there's an auto-eject A Hole sensor for the passenger seat. Anyone know of a source?

    Do they all have the same sensors or is it worked into the SRS system differently through the model years?
