If you know the part number.... You can input the number in Realoem and it will do a reverse search and tell you all of the BMW vehicles that specific part is used on.... As an example, if you put the part number of one of BMW's generic screws it will show up in 3, 5, and 7 series BMW and even the RR Phantom.... Everywhere that P/N is used.....![]()

There are very few compatible parts between gen 1 and gen 2 cars, even the engines are different!
Some of the suspension bits are the same, but I can't think of any body components that are. -
