Gold and Silver Pawn is in a crummy part of town (just north of the Stratosphere) and it's just a pawn shop. The show is fun since I lived in Vegas for years but that's about it. Unless you want to sell them a Mini. LOL.
Don't go there on a Saturday or Sunday and expect to see anyone you recognize from the show.
This previous April I spent a weekend in Vegas. My friends and I were all excited and stopped by Gold and Silver Pawn on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately once we got inside, we didn't see a single employee that we recognized from the show. Apparently, the main stars in the family have Sundays off and they rarely show up on Saturdays.
The shop itself is a pretty cool small shop located on the main strip between the new and old parts of Las Vegas. It is open 24/7. There were several different signs outside and inside the shop that say "No photography allowed" and "Do not ask to speak to The Old Man, Rick, Corey, Chumlee unless they talk to you first..."
