I have a wife for that stuff and she is excellent in the kitchen.
We have a deal, I stay out of the kitchen and she stays out of the garage.
FYI after she is done all her Cooking or Baking I clean everything up.
*note she does NOT clean my garage.

I'm lazy. These work spectacularly, as long as you wash them well.

When I want real poached eggs, I pay people to do that.-

I have the same. I was surprised, though, that the eggs don't always come out cleanly. A little olive oil on the silicone solves that minor problem.
Alton Brown is a smart cookie but even vinegar and swirling the water doesn't work well enough for me. I lose more egg than I like and the water ends up milky with it by the time I've done just a couple eggs. Maybe I just need to practice more but since those poach pods work so well that's not gonna happen. -

You guys sound just like this household. Do our wives know each other on facebook or something?
