I don't know if it will make you feel better or not but I coveted those damn things since they first came out and finally about 15 years ago I got my '87 Carrera Cabriolet. It ended up being a huge disappointment for me. I don't know if it was the years of anticipation or not but honestly my '13 Justa puts more of a smile on my face that that 911 ever did. I do agree, if you've got the itch the only way to satisfy that itch is to scratch it but don't be too surprised if it ends up being a bit of a let down. It was for me. At least I no longer turn my head and drool every time one goes by.
They just had an eBay barn find on the news this week for a 1955 Porsche rust bucket. Sold for $152k. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2015/12/03/rusty-barn-find-155-porsche-356-speedster-sells-for-152g-on-ebay/
I think you won this contest Dave.... So when you moved out of Colorado to Kansas, you should have gotten a huge credit.... Where's pictures of you Bugatti Type 35?
First I went to Sandy Eggo for about 20 years, then I sold everything to move back to KC to fund my wedding.....and my daughter's wedding.......and my son's wedding....all in the same year! Of course, I still have my E-Type!
