I should order another for the Countryman, it works great, I have been up touring on our mountain roads, not bounce or shake. I really like how it grips. Off to the link? Will check both, see if Nathan's and the latest have same cost. Both links show same price, I used Nathan's, works for me. Don
I have the perfect phone mount and its very cheap. Its called the "My pocket" mount. Less data equals more driving fun.
Thanks for this tip! I got one before MOTD and it works great. So happy I can use both cup holders for drinks now.
Just got my new Mountek nGroove Snap. Pretty amazing how it works. No more clamps or clips. Check it out here http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-ngroove-snap-by-mountek-mount-any-mobile-device-in-your-car-cd-slot?mobile=1&version=2
I have had my Mountek for a couple of months and after a minor modification I love it. I was perturbed that the tightening knob aligned with the volume knob on the head unit when the mount was centered in the slot. I know I can adjust volume via the steering wheel controls but I sometimes use the knob for a quick mute. Seeing as there was only enough "play" to slide the mount slightly to the right I took my trusty Dremel and, using a cut-off disc, I enlarged the slot of the CD player...No, No No I did not do that (but I got your attention didn't I!!!:devil. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I actually chopped off the protruding edge of the right most tab on the back of the mount. It now slides further to the right and I have reasonable access to the Volume/Power knob. This also positions my phone so that the only dash area that is blocked is the right most hash marks of the fuel gauge. Motor on... -John
They cited because mine is a 2010. Haven't been able to get anything to work so far. But my old ipod has no audio output now. I believe it has gone kaput, and I don't have one of the fancy adapters for the lightening connector.

Very secure. I've no issues with my Nexus 7 tablet and my iphone 5. It'll fit in any car with a CD player, but it can also be wedged into different crevices (hey oh!). Works really well. Here's a pic if my Nexus 7.
So I wonder if my cable is bad? I guess I would also need a 30 pin to lightening adapter. Damn I love my Sirius radio, but I would love to rock out to some of my music. Though I wonder is it would have interface issues now that I have updated to ios7? I need to find me a Mini stereo expert.
