Nope - not yet. That was the size of the picture I put up there. Going to see if I can fix that while doing the rest of it. Frankly also looking at a more updated platform. Appears some of these issues started awhile back and just manifested into the tornado we had.
Posted Yesterday, 02:11 PM by Matt Brighton on The Mini Forum UK I have found a workaround that allows the original posts to be viewed as intended. It is a chrome extension that automatically redirects the photobuckets links to allow the images to be displayed....https://chrome.googl...her-info-dialog They have also created a way for a forum administrator to re-write all the old urls on the entire forum to direct them to automatically copied images on Imgur, this would be against Imgur's TOCs though!! I have tried the extension and it works, so if I come across a thread that I need to see images on I can toggle the extension on or off at will
Interesting find. I have found some scripts that will do this also. However with the older code base, it will probably require some customization. The link you provided isn't working for me. Can you re-post?

Soooo, I get an e-mail tonight that PhotoBucket is now offering a $99/yr non-commercial 3rd party hosting option... Offer only good for 7 days... Personally, it could be $12/yr and I still wouldn't give them a dime after what they did. Had they offered this up front, I probably would have been fine with it ($8.25/month is worth it to me), but this just seems to be a feeble gesture to come back from an obviously failed attempt to take advantage of their customers. Still hope they die a fiery death, or whatever the business equivalent of that is....
That is interesting. Like you I really hate the way they went about their conversion from free to pay large money or get screwed. Had they been up front at first I think many would have signed on. Now I believe it's too late for that. They will get no money from me. That bridge has been burned by them.
Google drive will store any and all photos at a smaller resolution for free. Costs me $2 a month for 200G of storage for all of my data and full size images
I use smugmug. I don't want lower resolution photos. I can size what I want with smugmug. All of my photos are backed up in 3 different locations. Can't be too careful. You can use this code for a discount should you choose to try smugmug. https://secure.smugmug.com/signup?Coupon=gVhOoc1hjCn5Q
So, this mew forum software seems to work pretty well, I haven't experimented with it much yet, but you can choose to have your photos in thumbnail or full sized in your post - when uploaded directly from your computer. I haven't played with putting them into the text yet...I'll do that on my next post. Good job, Sully!
@Minidave - good deal, glad you are finding your way around. Regarding putting pics into post, you can upload 10 at a time if memory is correct (or one at a time). Then as you are typing, you can just put them into the edit window (as full or thumb). You can also drag an image from your computer into the edit box and it will upload also. Let me know if you need anything!
FYI - I’m hoping I have time to get the script etc finished to recover the photobucket pics next week. Fingers super crossed it will even work.. if it does will test on the “test” site.. if all goes well will run that when we take some scheduled maintence down time to fix the crazy character translation that happened during the migration.
